Zatímco nový krov nad presbytářem vznikl ihned po katastrofě, kostelní loď dostala definitivní zastřešení až o více než sto let později. Článek je věnován staršímu krovu. Ten je zajímavý především užitím ve své době značně anachronické konstrukce s klasovými vzpěrami a podelným rámem v osové rovině, která patří typologicky ještě do středověku.
